I tried the link for PCs but Windows says it doesn't understand TML
files and I sure the heck don't either.

Thanks for the video but it only shows using mnemosyne and not the
step by step actual making of the cards --especially the three dim.
ones with sound. I tried making a card and I put in a Q and than an A
then I had a choice preview or exit I obviously chose preview but
then I after I previewed and chose ok I was then back on the same
screen i.e. preview or exit and so I chose exit. They then asked if I
really wanted to abandon the question, well I didn't want to 'abandon'
it I just wanted to save it and make the next card but nonetheless I
chose to abandon it because I did not want to preview it again. And
then I do not know what happened to the card---- a screen cast of
MAKING the cards would be nice.
Next regarding the distinction you made-namely:

"I think you are confusing a web-based tool such as quia.com and
a piece of software installed in your computer. "

I am still not sure that I understand your distinction but my next
question would be why couldn't mnemosyne be a web-based tool? Isn't it
in the whole community's interest for this to be very user friendly?
Thanks for your help.
