That's what I initially thought, but then I did the two other cards as well as mentioned above. They both had -144 days as time until next repetition but when I marked them 4 for one and 5 for the other, the result was a next repetition in 6 days for the first and 5 days for the second... Even so a repetition gap of 144 days followed by an input of 3 to give a subsequent repetition gap of 5 days seems a little extreme. I understand that the algorithm is not optimised for this kind of usage though, you are supposed to keep to the schedule as much as possible. I'm just trying to understand how it is going to work in this situation so that I can best plan my SRS "recovery" strategy! I'm thinking holding down the space bar might be the best option!
