I have been using Mnemosyne for over 1 year now without problems, running it from a USB pendrive. A few weeks ago I moved back to Japan and took the USB pen with me. But when I run Mnemosyne from the USB in my Japanese computer (I have English XP installed) all options come up in Japanese and my 500 cards seem to have disappeared. I have backups of my Mnemosyne cards but for some reason they all look like this: default-20100807.xml.bz2 and when I try to import them into the Mnemosyne program it tells me that the program doesn't recognize the extension .xml.bz2 . Any ideas? Has anyone experienced a similar problem and know of a solution? Thank you!
