Unbelievable !!!
I have not received ANY Error message !
Created test cards for ALL available card types, incl CLOZE and Sentence.
Stopped cold in my tracks - can't figure out how to populate Media folder.
Google for 'word pronunciation' and found this:
----------------
Download Audio Pronunciations from Google
These files are MP3. Just use the following URL [replace WORD with a real
word].
https://ssl.gstatic.com/dictionary/static/sounds/de/0/WORD.mp3
----------
It works.
Indeed. In that case, Mnemosyne will download the file from the web each
time you see that card.
But how do I move the file to my Folder ?
If you want to keep that mp3 file locally, first save it your own hard
drive. It depends a bit on your browser, but typically it's with a
right-click menu.
Then, if you want to add that mp3 file to your cards, right click on the
text box, e.g. where you type in 'front' or 'back' or 'pronunciation',
..., and select 'Insert sound'. Then, choose the path to the mp3 file
you just downloaded.
Good luck!
