Hi,

Searching google for 'appdata roaming read only' turns up a lot of hits, so 
it's something that does seem to occur in other cases as well, but as far as I 
could see from quickly scanning through these hits, there is no obvious 
solution that works in all cases.

Anyhow, you can create a shortcut of Mnemosyne and then edit that shortcut to 
start Mnemosyne with the '-d <folder_name>' argument: that way you can set 
where Mnemosyne stores its data.
