Well, let me try. I don't have the answers for all the questions, but
I shall try with 1,3 and 4. I also use the same phone and I assume you
are using DW Contacts or a similar application as your dialer. If you
are not using DW Contacts and Dialer, then I would recommend you give
it a go, not only as your dialer, but also as your contacts manager.
Now on to the questions. As for the main screen, Android works with
the concept of Homescreens that are similar to the desktop on a
windows computer. On the Q 700, there are 5 homescreens available. The
different application icons are located on these 5 homescreens. You
can move from one homescreen to he other by doing a 2 finger swipe
from right to left, you can move back by swiping left to right. If you
can locate an icon on the homescreen, you can doubletap and hold for a
couple of seconds, and drag the icon to your preferred location on the
screen. If the icon is not there, then you can doubletap the apps
icon, locate the concerned app icon, doubletap and hold it and then
drag it on to the homescreen. Even within the apps screen, you can
move forward or back by page through a 2 finger swipe right to left or
left right. All this might appear a bit too complicated, but you will
be fine in a few days.
Now on to the 3rd question. Asuming you are using DW Contacts.
Doubletap the DW icon on the homescreen. Towards the left bottom of
the DW screen, you would find the Phone option. Doubletap to activate
the same. The screen will show the dial pad with the last few calls
you made or received on top of it. Just touch the virtual back key to
exit the dial pad. explore the screen, and when you locate the
concerned number, doubletap and hold to long press. A set of options
will come up. select the option you want, including 'add this number
to contacts' and remove from call list'. If you have to add the
number, follow the prompts on the given screen. Basically, add the
name on the given edit field and ones you are done, doubletap 'Done'.
Now on to number 4. This is a rather complicated aspect of Android
accessibility that they call Granularity. After opening a message,
explore to the message field. Then perform a swipe up and then right
gesture. Ones that is successfully done, you explore the screen in a
circle. When TalkBack says something like 'Change Granularity', lift
your finger. Again explore in a circle, lift the finger on the
preferred mode of granularity, that is word, character, line,
paragraph and so on. After selecting the mode of granularity you want,
swipe from left to right to move by the specified mode.
Hope this is of some help,
