many thanx sir for your detailed explanation. yes i was suggested by friends on the list to use dw contacts, and i will install it soon. hopefully that should solv some of my probs.
however i'm still unable to implement the rest of your suggestions. i tried to dubble tap and drag the messaging icon from inside the apps on to the main screen but obviously i'm not doing it correctly, cause it's not happening. anyway i'll play around with it for a few days and see where it goes. even the answer to the 4th q seems a bit too complecated right now. but i'll keep trying. like i tell every1 this is an aranged marriage with no scope for a seperation. because android is all we have now. so learning to live with it is the only way. smile. thank u for your help, i'll keep at it.
