Okay, im confused. which one, wowee zowee or brighten the corners, is 
suppossed to be the sell-out album made for the man? I LOVE Brighten the 
corners, i think its way more interesting that Terror Twilight,which would be 
fine itself if it werent for Nigel. and if we're talking about money-related 
production value, well,  I don't think keeping the Slanted and Enchanted 
aesthetic around would've done the band much good for their lateR songs.

But as for modest mouse:
i think they're gonna have to change as a band drastically to shine through 
the gloss epic will surely put over them.But then, i really love the meekness 
of interstate eight and dont really see them as a 'corporate machine' suited 
band in anyway and i think that they're either gonna fail epIc, or thieR 
fans, or both. But whatever.
