I see your point about how annoying it would be for a 17 year old kid in a
parka just asking for the who. But even he has to be applauded for escaping
what passes for music today. Remember its allot harder to get into a band like
the who today than it was is the sixties. When it comes down to it there are a
lot worse bands than the who just aren't a bad band AT ALL but it must get
tiring to here the same damn song every weekend. I was lucky because I found
the soul stuff first then the who but kids like that shouldn't get harped on to
much I mean they are only 17 its just the beginning of exploring music for
them. (me included) I remember when I first got the nuggets comp and then found
all my dads stax and motown records (a plus most kids don't get to enjoy) it
was pure heaven. But now I'm starting to get into the more obscure stuff. All
I'm trying to say is that everybody has a starting point and shouldn't get it
to hard for that.
