Once upon a time a 'casual' was a non-mod, specifically someone who was not
a member of another youth subculture. Ie in Quadrophenia, Kev was not a
casual because he was a rocker, but Jimmy's sister would've been a casual.

Now whether the guys on the Boiler are thinking the same thing ("ha-ha we're
non-mods who got past your elaborate screening process") as me or are just
lazy mods appropriating a new name for themselves is up to your own
conjecture.
