OK, the answer in not definitive BUT httpS doesn't appear to work with the
Nokia simulator but this doessn't mean that its not possble on real life
WAP device.

The (Apache mod_ssl) server doesn't get the https request so the command
doesn't seem to be leaving the simulator. HTTP requests work perfectly.
