1) Please reply to a thread *under* the thread.
2) The question was https and not http. The Linux Journal only describes http,
and even that is incomplete.
3) If you're not sure that I am wrong, then don't say it ;) and also, it is not
clear what you are referring to as not wrong. I suspect that the person who
asked the question in the first place knows more than you on WAP over HTTP. I
work for a firm that is member of the WAP forum, and I do know a little bit
about WAP (and also iMode). I can't release to you propriatary information, but
if you go to the WAP forum, and do your research, you will see that making SSL
work on WAP phones is not as trivial as you seem to think.
