I've got the same problem as well. It works fine for me with IE 5.5. I had
the guy having the problems (who is running IE 4.5) try to being up
https://www.modssl.org and it worked fine, and if you look at the version on
modssl.org:

Apache/1.3.6 (Unix) mod_perl/1.20 mod_ssl/2.3.5 OpenSSL/0.9.3a DAV/0.9.8

To my knowledge Apache 1.3.12 worked.

Subject: mod_ssl on redhat 7

I've recently upgraded to mod_ssl on RedHat 7. I ran it on
6.2 with no problem.

I'm using Apache 1.3.14 and mod_ssl 2.7.1

The problem I'm having now is that some people are having
problems connecting to the SSL port. In internet explorer
they'll get a message that say's:

"An error occurred in the secure channel support"

In Netscape the encryption will fail, but they'll still be
able to view the page.

The biggest problem is that no errors are showing up in the
logs, and the problem doesn't happen for everyone. In fact,
I can't make it happen at all with any of the browsers I've
tried. But I have a significant number of screen shots with
the error message being displayed.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Does anyone have any
advice for me?
