For META.yml, I'm not the least bit interesting in recommendations of any kind. Agree on a design, whoever thinks they are right tinderboxes the CPAN and proves they are, then write it into the META.yml spec. And nobody implements anything until concensus is reached and it's into the spec. We've got more than enough back-compatibility issues already without creating more problems. It's a file format spec. Go strict or go home. Adam K
