There is no downside specific to ModusMail/Gate when using hyper threading. So use it if you want to. You have to be aware that the performance gains will be quite modest since Modus is very IO intensive and multi-threading does not alter this. By the way, our services are all multi-threaded and will take advantage of multi-processors as much as they can.
