You can't say we don't listen to you! :-) We do give the permission in the console to do anything you want, as we assume the admins know what they are doing. After a couple of weeks of Beta, we found out that even admins made some mistakes with wildcards in the console, so it proved how dangerous wildcards could be in Webmail.
