I just released 2 messages from my quarantine caught by the Misc filter in
Modus3. That's why we decided a long time ago that the HD space and trouble
of maintaining SQL was well worth it.

That is strictly a business decision and is totally up to you. I have seen
a few legit messages QTed so as an ISP we cannot risk that. As an ISP the
LAST thing you want is a lawsuit from some user because they did not receive
a piece of mail due to your system.

If Modus 3 is so accurate at detecting SPAM, is there a reason to have it
quarantine messages as opposed to just deleting them? Seems like a large
amount of hard drive space and database load for very little reason. We
never announced the quarantine functionality to our users and set them all
to Delete messages by default. A few users have changed to quarantine on
their own over the past year, but not many. I'm almost thinking about
getting rid of the quarantine altogether. I never really "got it" when it
came to the quarantine. Am I missing something big?

Dave
