I had reported this several times, and have seen it around since VOP Web
Mail days.
The problem is actually in the underlying COM objects as I could not
find a way to set the FROM address from within the ASP pages. What I
would like is for them to modify this so that if no Name is set the
email address is used instead.
Currently it formats the from field as:
From: "" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
This should be changed so that it uses:
From: "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
This should be a trivial change as the pseudo code below shows:
If strFullName = "" Then
strFullName = strEmailAddress
End If

We just ran into a major problem with webmail. I sent a support ticket
in
to Vircom, but I'm hoping somebody has seen this. When a customer uses
the
web based system and sends an e-mail, it sends fine, but it comes
through
with no reply to address. Even if I go in to options in the web based
interface and specify a reply to address, it has the same behavior.
Obviously, not good. Anybody have any ideas?
