weird. So I remembered in the past with venv issues I could try deleting and reinstalling packages. That worked. Nevermind.
one other question though. I plan on doing some work with flask-socketIO and other packages - I know socketIO doesnt work with modwsgi. so I will switch my server to nginx for that.
