Yes Owen,

That reminds me; I once had bad fuel which caused poor running. Only
remember it happening once (in S.E.Scotland)

Hi Folks,

I was just musing upon the last time I encountered running on - it was a
long time ago and due to poor fuel. A fill-up with high octane juice and an
Italian tune-up solved the problem.

Cheers,

Owen.

Hi John

That's clearer for colour and I can see what you mean, not bad to get a gas
sniffer on the car if you have a chance, even if its at the MOT as you don't
want to go too low as that can be expensive. I am always suspect when
something has been changed and sometimes after a fault shows up. You would
not believe the number of customers who would arrive at the garage with a
fault and then in the conversation would drop in 'Oh, I changed the XYZ 3
weeks ago'.....its amazing how things are connected, cause and effect and
all that.

Good luck with solving it, you will get there.

BR

Colin
