It could be a combination - the symptoms sound like starvation - but not
necessarily a sticking float. It could therefore be electrics - but
electrics connected with fuel provision and not necessarily the spark. Is
it an electric pump? - if so could you have a loose lead or earth that
gives bad contact on cornering.
I'm also on Landie electrics this weekend - much more mundane though -
fitting a 12S split charger to my 2011 Defender 110. I've been so used to
having twin electrics (had them on the last three Discos from new) that I
never though to look when I bought the car over a year ago - specified with
tow bar and electrics - first time out with the caravan in tow on this
Defender and oops, warm beer on arrival in France!!
With hindsight Id have fitted a new Euro plug (apparently they are
waterproof) but I bought the Britpart 12 S before realising this. Just need
to mount it higher than the axle!
