Hi Folks, There are so many Land Rover folks on here please forgive me for asking, replies can be off-group. Our son has a 1983 Series III Landy with the standard Zenith 361V carb. It is a new aftermarket carb that seems to be doing a great job when compared to the old original except, sometimes, when turning left into a roundabout the engine stalls momentarily and then restarts. We don't think it's a misfire. Trying a simulation on roads to the right it doesn't happen. Float chamber? The dreaded o-ring? Has anyone had this and know why it happens? We know Webers and SUs are better but for now WE have the Zenith and for 20 years we've done ok with them. Cheers, Lawrence
