Just to understand the problem better, can you see the device at all in the
MD Device Chooser? When it's not there, is it listed on 'adb devices'?

If the system can't see it at all, try running the USB Prober with the
device connected, locate the device on the list, go to Device Descriptor and
write down the Device VendorID. Them go to ~/.android (create the directory
if it doesn't exist) and then put the VendorID code you got in there, one
code per line.
