Andreia,
Sorry, had to go away for a while, I tried everything you suggested in the thread, - Update the adb_usb.ini , no luck - The usb indicator is there - Tried a different cable from my other Samsung, no luck - When usb is first plugged in the device Is listed when you run "adb devices", after debug/deploy to the device and retry "adb devices" the listing is gone but can still be seen via USB prober It seems the only way to get the device to show up is to unplug/replug the usb for the device Thanks Carlos From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Andreia Gaita Sent: Tuesday, October 04, 2011 11:32 AM To: Discussions related to Mono for Android Subject: Re: [mono-android] getting my mac going Hi, When the device disappears from the MD list, can you see it if you run "adb devices" on the command line? This sounds very much like a bad cable, does the device indicate that you're in usb debugging mode when you plug the cable in? It should always have the USB indicator while the cable is plugged in, check if it's still there when it disappears from the MD device list. andreia gone crazy, back soon, leave message On Tue, Oct 4, 2011 at 4:02 PM, Carlos Amador <[email protected]> wrote: Having a similar issue with my Samsung infuse (Model # SGH I997), my macbook air has trouble seeing the device. I have Monodevelop with Monotouch and Mono for Android installed When debugging/deploying Monodevelop only sees the device after the initial plug in of the usb cable; when trying to redeploy to the phone the device doesn't show up in the device list; if I attempt to refresh the device list it will sometimes show the device but for the most part winds up crashing Monodevelop. When the refresh works and I do see and select the device from the list; it never winds up deploying to the phone..just hangs in Monodevelop. Consequently when debugging with the phone I have to unplug/replug the usb just to get the app on the phone I did go to the Samsung site looking for drivers, but only found drivers for Windows not Mac Thanks in Advance Carlos From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Wally McClure Sent: Tuesday, October 04, 2011 10:21 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [mono-android] getting my mac going Thanks. Unfortunately, there are no USB drivers for the Xoom on that page. I only see windows stuff there. Error! Filename not specified. I've googled and only found a reference on a dead link, so I think I need to be doing something else. My Xoom works just fine on my Windows7 device, but not on my mac. Any ideas are appreciated.
