Hi, When the device disappears from the MD list, can you see it if you run "adb devices" on the command line? This sounds very much like a bad cable, does the device indicate that you're in usb debugging mode when you plug the cable in? It should always have the USB indicator while the cable is plugged in, check if it's still there when it disappears from the MD device list.
