I wish Novell had some type of Escrow in place where if they were acquired/backrupt and unable to support their products it would be released as OSS so we could support it ourselves.
Though I don't expect Attachmate to give up something for nothing, their own software is useless to them as they wouldn't have the in-house knowledge to support a single code-change. It looks like pushing them for response/re-imbursement still remains the best approach. I'm not sure what they gain by trying to keep an unsatisfied customer base that they can have no ability to support in any capacity.
