WebKit is the absolute most important platform these days.
That includes Safari, Chrome, iPhone, iPad, Android, Samsung, Nokia, webOS and
soon Blackberry.

Internet Explorer 6–8 is the next most important platform since it’s almost
impossible to get paid without supporting them.

Firefox is important on the desktop for obvious reasons.
It has lost considerable mind-share recently, but they’ll eventually bounce
back.
I doubt they’ll ever be very important on Mobile.

IE9 should be added to everyone’s list of Grade-A supported browsers.
They are really working hard to be a major player in the Web universe again.
As much as I may personally dislike the people responsible for the failure of
IE6.
Whoever is behind IE9 is really trying hard and doing a really good job of it.

It’s only possible to support all these browsers if you test them ALL as you go.
If you wait until it works perfectly in one browser to try it in another
browser then you are shooting yourself in the foot.

Needless to say, one version of MooTools or another will continue to support
IE6 forever.
