Over the weekend I surfed through the world of web to get an overview
what’s up in technique and internet-design.
There are a lot of contest and design pages. But no one is related to
mootools. Quite the contrary, if I do my obligatory right-click, the
most of designers-pages are written in this queerish jquery-tool. I am
sure that all of them also can be done with mootools.
I think the reason for that fact may be that web-designers are mostly
creative persons who are not very interested in technical things.

Should the moo-community show them what’s possible with moo? (I think
to show some example page are not enough!)

What do you think about starting a moo-contest?
A page where all moo-developer can post there moo-designs and the
audience and/or an international jury can give an evaluation.
The aim should be to create a meeting point where web developers and
designers can share experiences, inspiration, knowledge and get an
overview what is possible with moo. Here can also be shown the forge-
classes in a designed environment.
The awards (best side of the week / month / ever) can also promote the
best moo-web designers in the world.

What do you think, does it make sense?
Should it be managed also by the moo-developer-team or can the contest
be started by everyone?
