I know this was not originally a JxLib discussion but kind of seems to have turned that way so I have to add my 2 cents worth here.
I have to give a big round of applause to the JxLib team for releasing what is probably the most feature rich UI library out there that is built on MooTools. In stead of bashing an open source project because it lacking something or other then why not help out? That is pretty much the philosophy of the MooTools project so why not take the same approach with a project built on MooTools? If I was not working 12 - 16 hours a day I would help out any way I could. ExtJS might have some more bells and whistles but has been around a lot longer and you have to buy it, JxLib is free.
