And here is my 2 cents (how much money have we collected now?)...Yeah, I think this JxLib looks promising. Im sure like all fledgeling, or even mature, projects, that once my head was in it I would discover things that I think were missing or lacking. The situation in which I am in when I find these discrepancies will often dictate my reaction (deadline moments vs. exploration time). I too can find myself screaming out "damn you MooTools!"; a feeling that is not altogether indefensible but definitely not justified either (try to think of a sphere being both black and white at the same time).
ITs easy to "throw the baby out with the bath water" in these situations, but not rational. JxLib has clearly made a great start and should be explored more. They want to hear you issues, this will help them improve it within there time and resource constraints. If you are inline with enough people I assure you that they will address the issue in time. And if that time seems to be unacceptable, then yes jump on in and help out. Its a nice way to build up your software Karma.
