Yes, it's great fun going to a poster event and meeting people you've
dealt with on the internet or by phone (harking back to the good old
days of MCW). I used to run into folks like Jack Gold, Dan Strebin, &
the Demaios at the Courts show back when it was at the Beverly Garland
Holiday Inn in Hollywood
(And I got to cozy up to Yvette Vickers!) The Cinevent, however, sounds
like the uber-gathering of poster geeks. And...I've never participated
in a live auction. If I'd been there last week, I'm sure that DEVIL'S
HARVEST one sheet would be mine by now, dammit!
