After reading the comments of the troubles some members are having
with MoPo, I am wondering if some members are not getting a "blocked"
message when they try to post, and then quitting the group, and
others may be quitting because MoPo e-mails are not getting to them
(blocked by their Internet providers) and so they see no reason to
remain members if they can't get the e-mails.
Personally I think MoPo is doing just fine. Lots of spirited
discussions, and little name-calling or obscenities. I just wish
Kirby would post a LOT more. I would even be happy to see him post a
bunch of those "Movie Art has a six-sheet of XXX for sale for $8700,
jpgs on request, if only it would get him to share more of his
insights (ditto for Channing, Walter, and all the other deep thinkers of MoPo).
But if the members are having technical difficulties that are causing
them to leave, then maybe Scott should explore moving it to a
different location.
