They were NOT frames from the film. The studios used to shoot numerous publicity stills and in addition to these they shot a still that duplicated each take and each shot in the film. In retrospect, the studios were not always "lucky" in their picks for lobby cards. For instance in the lobby card set from "From Here To Eternity" they did not pick the shot of Kerr and Lancaster on the beach with the waves breaking over them; they chose a shot of Kerr and Lancaster on the beach BEFORE they took all their clothing off !!!
