are scene/lobby card photographs merely a FRAME from the film, or did the actors pose specifically for a still photograph? pretty amazing that some cards depict the essence or mood of the film, while others are so uninspiring. the famous scene card (also on the insert) of Marilyn in ALL ABOUT EVE is not special..........but, boy, did the studio get lucky in retrospect. clearly......some decisions were guesswork or being lucky in making the decisions. michael
