Or how about this. Try to buy a title from "certain" dealers and he or she will say it sold for $500 in auction so don't even TRY to haggle. Now try to sell the same title to "certain" dealers, asking 50% of retail -- and he or she will tell you they can procure it "for around $50 or less" from eBay -- making you feel your asking price is stupid. Then they procure that same title elsewhere and mark it up to $400-500! Whatever they can get, fine, but I hate when this happens. Asking $150-200 for something a dealer plans to mark up to $500 is OK I guess, but what a double standard. -d.

Try to BUY an item from a dealer, and he will tell you it just sold at auction for $1,195. But try to SELL that same item to that same dealer, and he will tell you it just sold at auction for $1,000! Close – buy from a dealer and he will tell you the $1195 price, sell to a dealer and he will mention that the consignor just sold his for $850 Visit the MoPo Mailing List Web Site at www.filmfan.com ___________________________________________________________________ How to UNSUBSCRIBE from the MoPo Mailing List Send a message addressed to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the BODY of your message type: SIGNOFF MOPO-L The author of this message is solely responsible for its content.
