Hello from France, As some of you are aware, 5 years ago I've had a "problem" with UPS shipping : I sent 8 Audrey Hepburn's posters to Los Angeles via UPS for a total value of 38.000 Euros. It was a strong tube of 5 feet long. The buyer received a shoe box containing rolls of paper towels .... After 2 proceedings, UPS was forced to pay me 38.000 Euros. Yesterday the 8 posters were sold at Christie's South Kensington (Lots 166, 169, 170, 174, 177, 178, 179 and 180). Being an honest person, I informed UPS of the sale, and they lodged a complaint for stealing against Christies.
Today, I've learned who the consignor of these posters was.... And the winner is ..........................U P S Yes, incredible but true, your eyes don't lie. I just spoke with the french police agent who interviewed me, and she told me that the seller is a UPS subsidiary ..... As soon as I can get more info, I'll keep you informed.
