I'd love to get the soundtrack on a good remastered CD - but I don't
think it's
available in the U.S. I'd even buy the DVD if they'd provide the
music with it.
There was a very expensive Japanese CD of the soundtrack available for a
time, but I don't know if it's still around.
One of the things that they could do to blu-ray to make it more
appealing, aside
from its visual clarity, is to take advantage of it's enhanced stereo
or multi-channel
audio capacity to provide great soundtrack recordings. So far, I have
not seen much
of that.
Yes, A MAN AND A WOMAN - great sixties stuff.
Few films were so completely MADE by the music, although watching
Anouk Aimee is not hard.

I adore Lelouch. His "Un Homme et une Femme" is my all time
favorite film ever,ever, ever. When I lived in the Maison Francaise
in college we watched that movie (in French of course..the subtitles
just do not do it) again and again and again. And the
music....check on YouTube to see my favorite part: the clip of
"Samba Saravah"...a classic. I will see if I can email it to you.

On an
August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch
mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari
275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer,
drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris early in
the morning . The film was limited for technical reasons to
10 minutes; the course was from Porte Dauphine , through the
Louvre, to the Basilica of Sacre Coeur.
No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a
permit.
The driver completed the course in about 9 minutes,
reaching nearly 140 MPH in some stretches. The footage
reveals him running real red lights, nearly hitting real
pedestrians, and driving the wrong way up real one-way
streets.
Upon showing the film in public for the first time, Lelouch
was arrested. He has never revealed the identity of the
driver, and the film went underground.
