OK, let's use my The Cat Creeps as an example: Did I want Cloutiers
big huge signature on my tortured poster? Then do I want some
talented perfectionist yet humble being to sign after fixing his
work? Is the larger signature the wannabe or the simply gifted?
Could one EVER RESELL a restored product with Cloutiers name on it
given his reputation? Oy vey, Glenn.

What are the pros and cons of restorers signing thier work?
Would it add or subtract from the value of a piece?
It would be easier to do with paper items, a simple rubber stamp of
some kind. I suppose it could be done the same on linen.
Years go by and you wonder, who did the work on this piece.
Your thoughts?
