yesterday, someone asked about the value of his?1931 one-sheet poster that he
might consider selling.? it was a rare poster, and the only known sale was by
emovieposter (bruce)?over 15 years ago for about 600.?

this seller?wants to sell it?and get 3,000 net.

1.? ebay is totally wrong for such a quality piece.?

2.? heritage, although they do allow?consignors to set reserves with their
approval, only accepts consignments of posters totalling about 5,000.

3.? bruce?would?clearly sell it, but?he starts his auctions at a dollar.? this
is?risky for the seller.? Surely,?if the value of the poster is just a couple
of hundred,?so be it!!!!? bruce did his job in getting the fair value.? But,
that wouldn't please the consignor.

i have about?6 top posters that i want to sell.? one, for example, is ALL ABOUT
EVE insert.? bruce sales of it are as follows:? $1,650 in 2008, $733 in 2005
and $1,976 in 2002.

Is there a way for me to guarantee $1, 400 in my pocket or have it returned to
me???is there a way for that 1931 poster?to achieve 3,000 net for that owner or
get it returned to him?

thoughts?
