I actually did that once... not with a poster, but with a pair of superb
vintage Pioneer stereo speakers I won on Ebay. I got a great price, and
when they arrived they were in far better condition than the seller had
indicated in the auction description. They were essentially mint and
sounded showroom new. I'm listening to them right now and still amazed
at the sound quality.
Anyway, I actually felt bad that the seller had only received maybe half
of what they were worth, so I sent him another $60 bucks with PayPal.
He never even acknowledged receiving the extra money, much less say
thank you.
