I vote that when you would have paid more, you send the seller 1/2 of
the difference as a good will gesture

everything is a gamble when you list without a reserve.
i won 2 posters from the final session (no audience) Heritage
Signature auction as the sole bidder (with absentee bids----although
i was monitoring the auction). i would have paid well over DOUBLE
the price of each.
if they started higher, i would have paid more BECAUSE I WANTED
THEM!!!!. if they started lower, perhaps there might have been more
interest and a bidding war would start and they would have sold for
more. heritage did have some items with no bids.
you never know.
the initial listing price is always a gamble for heritage and ebay.
rich in vegas and bruce have a different approach.
bruce's new EXTENDED bidding added a new dimension/angle to
bidding. i've had a few wars....i win some...but now all.
