I think it would be more realistic to say "Day in, and day out.we sell certain posters for higher prices than have been previously publicly reported" with the rest of the sentence being "and on those same days, other dealers also sell certain posters for higher prices than have been previously publicly reported".
Bottom line - No one gets the highest price every time. Every seller has some highs and some lows, and it all ends up towards the middle of the bell curve. Think about it, if Bruce got the highest price everytime out, wouldn't people start looking at other venues to purchase and his prices start floating downwards? If Rich got the lowest prices every single time, wouldn't it only be a short while before more people found those bargains and drove the prices higher? Every week, each seller has some items that sell for seemingly high prices and an equal number of pieces that sell for seemingly low prices. It's just how much people talk about one or the other where the perception lies.
