I think tonight's set of auctions proved that it is not lesser restoration that dedicated collectors mind (because some know that some posters are very hard to find in any condition, and others don't mind getting common posters in lesser condition if they get a large enough discount), but rather they hate being lied to and being played for chumps, when they bid on posters they are told have little restoration, and when they receive them they find lots of lesser restoration.
There shouldn't be a single buyer from tonight's auctions who does not know EXACTLY what to expect when their package is delivered. Restoration (good or bad) is not the villain here; it is those who deceive collectors (whether by over-grading, or by creating fakes).
