Avatar was filmed in 3-D so it should look better than the 3-D in Alice in Wonderland.

It's all about the experience and feeling part of the movie. Avatar was absolutely amazing in 3D, In parts I almost felt I was in a video game. Theres only certain types of film which are good for 3D, Avatar being one of them. Alice in Wonderland wasn't that great for the 3D experince but still enjoyed the film. I certainly wouldn't watch It's a wondeful Life in 3D but would love to see Star Wars on IMAX for the experience alone. It's not for everyone though, apreciate that, some people even get motion sickness. Whatever floats your boat I say. ________________________________ Date: Tue, 9 Mar 2010 05:34:05 -0800 From: [email protected] Subject: Re: [MOPO] I saw Alice in Wonderland last night To: [email protected] Don't waste your money on Imax. No feature movies are filmed in Imax. You are just seeing a blown up version of a movie filmed in 35mm or digital. In fact if you saw Avatar (filmed with digital cameras) on a real large Imax screen (not the small fake Imax screen), it was window boxed with blank lines on all four sides of the screen. Imax is getting to be a joke just like the old 70mm Cinerama - not real 3-strip Cinerama. ________________________________ From: Franc <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, March 9, 2010 8:02:35 AM Subject: Re: [MOPO] I saw Alice in Wonderland last night Message Did you see the IMAX 3D version or the regular 3-D version?
