Michael.. it isn't the same thing as being on a
board as it's on that auction and not in your
feedback, so after that auction is done, the comment is gone.
second, if you went on a board and said I wasn't
responding to your emails, people would not be
saying "Rich is a bad guy not answering emails"
especially because they know I answer them all.
More likely they'd be saying "why won't Rich respond to THIS guy"
But in any case, considering the guy was so
explanatory in his email, and he is correct that
fleaBay does indeed make it un-necessarily difficult to do anything.
I can't see how this one comment is the negative
you're looking at it as. It's a fly speck. It will be gone next week. Poof..
and that's beside the fact that it's a nothing
comment even as a bid retraction. Who looks at
bid history on an auction that has no bids??

Rich, "mountain out of a molehill"? It has to do
with my reputation. If I went, say, on another
message board and made a thread that says
"Halequa not responding to my emails!" you'd
probably have something to say about it...at
least just to straighten things out or find out
what is going on. Or would you just let it sit
there? The resource eBay leaves is this: If you
canât retract a bid, you can contact the
seller to request that your bid be canceled. The
decision to cancel a bid is up to the seller.
Had the bidder done that I would have had no
problem canceling their bid. Turns out I know
the bidder, we have talked in email, and they
will not go on my blocked bidder list. I wish
the folks who sent me private emails
understanding why I was upset had sent them to
the MOPO list itself. Michael ----- May the
