Yes--I've gotten that and it is another of their ways to keep you  from 
contacting sellers privately.  They have done far more than preventing  
off-ebay private transactions.  They have encouraged shill bidding and  there 
is no 
way to check if it is being done or to inform ebay about shill  bidding.
 
Buyer beware is never more important than now.

Has anyone ever had this before? Is there a default setting,  that allows 
you to refuse any contact with potential buyers or this eBay's  idea of a 
joke???
