There were a lot of independent films from the 60s that played only as roadshow pictures with no studio or release backing. Most of them are "lost" inthe sense the few remaining prints are not available on DVD or Video tape.
One famous one is Hot Rod Hulabaloo - which I believe is still lost. I know that Jay Leno was actively trying to find it. I am not sure if he ever found it.
