Tom

you are correct, however the key is for international buyers to buy alot over a 30 day period (from one seller) and have it all shipped at one time, which would also mostly necessitate Priority Mail shipping as any package 4lbs or more can only be sent that way

bruce & I both offer such a service (Pay & Hold)

but the real victim of shipping cost is not the buyers - it is the sellers!
for every dollar that shipping goes up, bids go down. so the Post Office gets more money, but the dealers get less I've been hesitant to raise shipping rates again, but just this morning I have come to the conclusion that I have no choice

oil speculators suck balls

And this could be the end of international shipping for a lot of items
from the US, since I believe 1st Class International, the only
affordable method for shipping something of small or moderate value,
does not offer a tracking number. Unless I'm mistaken, you have to
use Priority, which is far too costly unless a buyer is willing to pay
$30-40 for shipping of items that cost that much or less.
