Come on, Bruce! (Has anyone ever accused you of being a little thin-skinned? Probably not).
I was not attacking you or your business. Yes, your advertizement inspired me, and I echo some of your rhetoric, but I was addressing, in a way at least some have found humorous, the general subject of hype and the fact that often in what seems to be an attempt to attract everyone, promoters make what are, upon examination, contradictory claims. It's not all about you. If you read my post carefully you might notice that I even implicate myself as among those who wants it both ways. And yes, as you say in your first sentence, I was making a joke, which you say is great. If you really feel that way, why the second sentence? One might read it to imply that you don't really think it was a joke, and you don't really think it is great. Do you really feel your auctions are not for me? I've been a loyal customer of yours for over a decade. Are you telling me to get lost? It was a wee bit of humor--that's how I express myself--can't help it. Thank you, though, for your call for more involvement by us quiet MOPO members.
