Sniping is also about saving our customers time. Not everyone has the time (or
desire) to sit in front of a computer all night and fight back and forth in $2
or $5 increments.
Sniping allows you to set a bid and have it executed at the end of the auction
without having to tie your night to the computer.
....despite the fact that's EXACTLY what you should be doing. Sniping is
irritating... but auto-sniping is dirty pool. End of story. It essentially
denies those people who ARE sitting in front of their PCs trying to get a
much-sought-after item. I've stayed quiet mostly here, but I regard all snipers
as little more than pond life.
